- 3/4 Cup Butter Softened to room temp
(substitute Earth Balance Vegan Sticks for dairy free)
- 2 1/2-3C Confectioners’ sugar
- ½ Cup of CocoaX
- ½ Cup of milk (substitute Coconut milk for dairy free)
Note: We use this regardless because the flavor is amazing!
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- NOTE: This is the amount used for a naked cake with only the center filled- Double for a two to three layer cake
- Cream butter until smooth
- Add sifted cocoa to butter and mix well
- Add sugar and milk alternating
- Add Vanilla
- Note: We like a little less sugar, so go slow and taste often. Enjoy!
