CocoaX Chocolate Frosting

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 Cup Butter Softened to room temp
    (substitute Earth Balance Vegan Sticks for dairy free)
  • 2 1/2-3C Confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ Cup of CocoaX
  • ½ Cup of milk (substitute Coconut milk for dairy free)
    Note: We use this regardless because the flavor is amazing!
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • NOTE: This is the amount used for a naked cake with only the center filled- Double for a two to three layer cake

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cream butter until smooth 
  2. Add sifted cocoa to butter and mix well
  3. Add sugar and milk alternating
  4. Add Vanilla
  5. Note: We like a little less sugar, so go slow and taste often.  Enjoy!
